Reinforced with the proven strength of carbon fibre, the exclusive CF6 ScrewClamp™ bites down on the stainless steel mesh on impact with a vice-like grip. This is why Crimsafe
Classic can withstand an impact that is five times stronger than the level required by the Australian Standard. It’s been tested with a singular impact level of up to 550 joules and has passed or exceeded all other safety testing set by the Australian Standard (AS 5039 – 2008).

Crimsafe Classic will also withstand Australia’s Standards in dynamic impact testing, jemmy testing, knife shear testing, shear pull testing, pull testing and probe testing. Passing or exceeding all these tests, you can rest assured that no one is getting through your Crimsafe Classic security screens.

What makes Crimsafe Classic Different

Crimsafe Classic gains its remarkable strength by incorporating its exclusive CF6 Screw-Clamp™ technology. Reinforced with the proven strength of carbon fibre, the CF6 Screw-Clamp™ bites down on the stainless steel mesh on impact, with a vice-like grip. This is what gives Crimsafe Classic the ability to withstand tremendous force to keep your family safe.

Crimsafe Classic doors are reinforced with three locking points, as standard, to secure the door into the frame upon locking.

Our specially developed Crimsafe Tensile-Tuff® mesh uses 0.9mm 304 structural-grade stainless steel. This means that our woven mesh is up to 26.5% thicker than most other mesh products on the market that use 0.8mm wire.

A clip-on cover conceals the screws to prevent tampering and fits seemlessly into your home, enhancing the look of your doors and windows.

We highly recommend Davcon. With crime on the increase, we made the decision to invest in Crimsafe. Davcon were great. We have a classic Hamptons house and thought that the mesh would make our house look horrible. There are not many Hamptons houses on the internet with Crimsafe so it was hard to gauge how it would look. The Davcon team explained all the options clearly and they were not pushy. The price was competitive in comparison with other companies in Brisbane. This is the most important comment. The installation team were amazing!!!! They paid attention to fine detail, went out and beyond my expectations to install mesh to custom windows and doors. They even made up a trim on a big stacking door which allowed the screen to blend in with the house. They navigated shutters and electric blinds and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Crimsafe isn't cheap but after a recent burglary, we needed to feel safe again. In the attached photos, every window and door has been covered. We have a mix of different types of crimsafe. From the inside looking out - you can't see it. When it is installed on the outside it looks dark on the outside but you can't see it from the inside looking out. We have also benefited from cross breezes throughout the house. Other than the price, the only negative of the Crimsafe is that it can slightly darken a room depending on the available lighting. I hope this helps you decide. The Davcon team are hard to beat. They get the installation right. They are respectful and keep you informed from start to finish. We wouldn't use anyone but Davcon.

It was a pleasure to deal with Davcon. James the quotes man stood out in terms of his frank directness with producing a competitively priced quote & experience with details of Crimsafe products. James responded quickly with my queries and I felt he made things so much easier for me to decide to go with Davcon for the job.Chris the technician who came for measure up was also experienced and efficient.While there was a minor hiccup with the external spray paint job causing delays, and the admin girls needing chasing up at times, Matt the installer went above and beyond with his installation, and he took pride with the finished product. He even fixed the sliding door he was working on and helped me freshen up a couple of pre-existing panels, as well as mixing up paint to touch up on a small area of an old panel. I’d actually forgotten, but he kept to his word, which I was so impressed with. It was an absolute pleasure to have had Matt do the job. I wish all tradesman could be more like him, taking pride in what they do, as well as taking care of the quality of the finished product! Had a good experience with Davcon in the past so used them again for replacement of old screens on windows and doors at a different property. Good communication from Davcon and appreciated the past customer discount they offered. We made a large order so took some weeks for it to be manufactured but they were upfront and realistic with their timeframes. Service and professionalism was excellent from James doing the quote and Frank doing the installation. Quality of the crimsafe security screens/doors is excellent. They made a slight error when they installed one of the sliding doors (drilled holes in wrong spot in part of a metal cover as they had accidently put the door in the wrong way initially) but were honest and upfront about it as it was hardly noticeable with filler if they hadn't pointed it out to me. However, they endeavoured to fix the issue and did replace the metal cover. Would highly recommend Davcon and we would definitely use them again for security screens/doors in the future.
