Davcon Security Screens and Crimsafe have donated Crimsafe security screens to a Brisbane couple whom were victim to a violent home invasion.
A Terrifying Attack
Davcon Security Screen’s General Manager, Cassandra Lehmann, first heard about the disturbing attack on the news and immediately offered the assistance of Davcon Security Screens.
“The news bulletin described the victim as a pillar of the community who was involved in a lot of charity work, and hearing that she was attacked like that really disgusted me,” says Cassandra.
Crimsafe were also eager to contribute, and donated all the materials used to manufacture the Crimsafe security screens.
Count on Crimsafe
After assessing the security weak points of the premises, five Crimsafe security doors and five Crimsafe Safe-S-Capes were manufactured and installed by Davcon to ensure the future safety of the lovely couple, and to help provide peace of mind after such a harrowing ordeal. On Thursday, 13 December 2012,Crimsafe’s General Manager, Derek Tidey, visited the residence to survey the installation and Derek presented the home owners with some DJR Ford Racing merchandise signed by none other than Dick and Steve Johnson!
Proud to Help!
Davcon is proud to have been able to donate to these two deserving members of the Brisbane community. Having helped out others for so many years, it was now their turn to feel the charitable nature of the community in their time of need. Davcon and Crimsafe sought to ensure that should anyone ever try and repeat this malicious act, they would be met with super-strong Crimsafe security screens!
